A Victorian Silver Plate Tureen The body of compressed ovoid form centred by an engraved armorial and the inscription 'Forfar & Kingardine Militia', flanked by acanthus leaf moulded scroll handles, bowed stepped cover bearing the same inscription surmounted by a foliate handle, raised on scroll feet, impressed mark to the rim, 39 cm wide across the handles.
