A Victorian sterling silver mounted crystal wine jug maker's mark H.P & Co., Birmingham 1865 of compressed ovoid form, the crystal body flanked by an angular leaf capped handle, rising to an applied sterling silver band with chased and engraved floriate decoration, engraved armorial cresting and mask head spout, surmounted by a stepped circular cover of conforming decoration with rampant lion finial supporting a vacant shield, 27 cm high
