A six-panel embellished black lacquer screen, 20th century, (6), each panel applied in bone and ivory with three polychrome painted mythical figures, supported on cloud scrolls and carrying various attributes, the black lacquer ground painted and gilt with waves and clouds, all between carved wood panels of precious objects and foliate scrolls enclosing shou characters, the reverse of each painted on a black ground with birds and flowering plants, (6), each panel 184 cm x 38.5 cm wide
