A Victorian silver plate presentation candelabra garniture, circa 1878, comprising a four light candelabra and two garnitures, each raised on a shaped tripartite base with applied winged horse mounts, the candelabra with a knopped and reeded Corinthian columnar standard emanating three branches with griffin mask head and acanthus leaf mounts, terminating in turned detachable nozzles with drip pans, surmounted by a cut crystal bowl with mesh cover, inscribed 'Victoria Coursing club Vice Presidents' plate Presented by Mess'rs W.K Thomson, D.Jones and B.Hepburn, Won by B.Fetherston's Bk.W.D Fijian by Glenlyon-Viva, August 1878,' each garniture with similar inscription having a knopped tapering standard surmounted by a lesser cut crystal mesh-covered bowl, impressed B & Co.
