A Bokhara Suzani, South West Uzbekistan, second half 19th century, the latticework centre field composed of medallions displaying a combination of top and side views of floral motifs, within a narrow border of blue stylised flowerheads, the main border with naturalistic rendering of flowerheads and floral vinery embroidered in a rich palette of red, pink, orange, yellow, green and blue, contained within outer blue flowerhead border, 157 x 110 cm.
