A 19th century Swiss tortoiseshell musical snuff box, the musical mechanism with a choice of two tunes, wound with a key from below. Rectangular shape with gold thumbpiece, two gold discs on the front slide to actuate the music and change the tune, gold shield cartouche inlaid to the lid. The silver gilt piano hinge with hallmarks. 9 x 5 x 3 cm
