Early locomotive Technical drawing, Crampton 4-2-0. Original 1880s side elevation of the British designed Crampton. Built in France by J.F. Cail, No.187 in 1852. It served on the Paris to Strasbourg route as No.80 'Le Continent' covering over 2 million kilometres until 1914. This locomotive survives today at the Dutch National railway Museum.
