1852 pattern United States Navy officer's sword book belonging to Captain Beverly A. Hartt, who acted as the chief interpreter for the Germandefendants during t commandants and einsatzgruppen personal. The booklet outline the case files, witness statements and verdicts. It is a chilling account and of historical value. The sword is named to Hartt and the book is dedicated to him by the presiding judge Captain Musmanno.
