(Qld) not transferable By the 1930s Talbot was the most successful division of the Anglo-French Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq combine, due to their employment in 1916 of the talented Swiss-born Charles Roesch. In 1927 he produced the 14/45 model which was immediately successful and was later developed into the 75, 90 and the 3 litre 105 models, the latter featuring staggered valves and a Roesch-designed pre-selector gearbox, augmented in 1935 by the famous traffic clutch which was offered sequential upward gear changes
