A fine and rare early 19th century Australian cedar secretaire chest, Tasmania, the rectangular top with stepped corners to the front above a cross banded secretaire drawer enclosing a fold out writing surface and an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes above three cock beaded graduated drawers flanked by applied half columns and raised on turned bun feet, 122 cm wide, 62 cm deep, 132 cm high.
